Booking rules and responsibilities
Terms & Conditions
Review the conditions that apply to identification, payments, conduct, seating, itinerary changes, safety and unforeseen circumstances.
Before departure
- Documentation: All participants must carry their original CNIC. Without valid identification, entry to certain restricted areas may be denied.
- Medical and age disclosure: Management must be informed in advance of participants under 10 or over 50 years of age. Participants requiring specific medical assistance must disclose this at the time of booking.
- Payment methods: Payments must be made through the official bank-transfer, JazzCash or Easypaisa details provided by STEP Travel & Tours. Share the payment screenshot with the reservation details.
- Vehicle seating: Seats are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. A guaranteed front-row or specific-seat request is subject to availability and a PKR 1,000 premium per seat.
- Late arrival: Tours depart on time. Transport will not be held for late participants, and no refund is provided for a missed departure.
Conduct and personal responsibility
- Code of conduct: Drugs, weapons, harassment and inappropriate behaviour are not permitted. Management may remove a participant from the trip without refund when rules are violated.
- Personal valuables: Participants remain responsible for their own valuables. STEP Travel & Tours is not liable for loss or theft during the trip.
- Incidental expenses: Package prices exclude personal expenses, laundry, room service, extra meals, jeep fares, entry tickets and activities unless they are explicitly listed as included.
Operations, safety and unforeseen conditions
- Itinerary alterations: The itinerary may be changed for participant safety because of weather, roadblocks, local restrictions or vehicle issues.
- Force majeure: Refunds are not provided for natural disasters or unforeseen circumstances such as landslides, floods or storms.
- Unforeseen extensions: When a trip is extended because of landslides or other unforeseen events, additional per-day costs are paid by participants as determined by the Tour Leader.
- Liability: STEP Travel & Tours takes reasonable precautions but is not liable for injury, accident or personal loss sustained during the trip.
Package-specific terms: The confirmed itinerary, departure details, inclusions, exclusions and any written booking confirmation for the selected tour form part of these booking conditions.
