Itinerary

Day 0: Late-Night Departure

• Group gathers for a late-night departure from Lahore (10:00 PM) via modern transport to begin our journey to Gilgit-Baltistan.

Day 1: Islamabad Pickup & The Karakoram Highway

• Pickup for Islamabad participants (05:00 AM).

• Begin the scenic drive toward the North. Travel via the modern highway with multiple scenic stops for photography.

• Arrive in Chilas/Jaglot for a group dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Entering the Skardu Valley

• After breakfast, continue the journey toward Skardu.

• Sightseeing at the iconic Nanga Parbat View Point and the unique Three Mountains Junction (where the Himalaya, Karakoram, and Hindu Kush ranges meet).

• Visit the famous Shangrila Resort and hike to the serene Upper Kachura Lake.

• Arrival in Skardu city for dinner and a comfortable overnight stay.

Day 3: Shigar Fort & Cold Desert Exploration

• Morning departure for the historic Shigar Valley.

• Explore the vast landscapes of the Sarfaranga Cold Desert (often called the Shigar Cold Desert).

• Visit the ancient Shigar Fort (Serena Hotel).

• Witness the majestic, roaring Manthoka Waterfall before returning to Skardu for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4: Basho Valley & Sultanabad Meadows Jeep Safari

• Early breakfast. We travel to the entrance of Basho Valley, where we transfer to rugged 4×4 Jeeps.

• Embark on a thrilling off-road expedition to explore the pine forests, rivers, and the stunning Sultanabad Meadows of Basho Valley.

• Return to Skardu for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 5: Return Journey to Chilas

• Breakfast followed by check-out. We begin the return journey back toward Chilas.

• Enjoy short refreshment stops at scenic spots like Astak Nala.

• Arrive in Chilas for a final group dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 6: Final Drive to Lahore/Islamabad

• Early breakfast before the final leg of our journey.

• Travel back to Islamabad and Lahore with scenic stopovers along the way.

• Expected arrival at night.
